Service Onsite
Sunday 8 am services feature the classic Anglican style that has characterised St. Anne's since its earliest days, along with a clear emphasis on hearing God's word in the Bible readings, and grappling with its meaning and significance in Bible focused sermons. Joining in Holy Communion each Sunday is a regular reminder that we gather in the Name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life for our sins.
On a typical Sunday, with COVID-19 safety regulations, the service will be the Second Order of Holy Communion from 'A Prayer Book for Australia'. Some parts of the service - such as the Hymn of Praise (Gloria) and the responses during the Great Thanksgiving - are not sung due to COVID safety guidelines. Hymns are chosen from 'Together in Song'.
